Common questions

Is the game free?

Yes. Idle Nebula Drift is free to play. It includes opt-in ads and optional in-app purchases (e.g., gems, passes, and an ad-free option).

Do I need an account?

No sign-in is required. The game automatically creates an anonymous account and backs up your progress to the cloud, so you don't have to do anything. You can optionally add an email + password in Settings → Account if you want to recover your progress on a new device.

How do I move or back up my progress?

Your progress is automatically backed up to the cloud under an anonymous account, so it's safe across reinstalls. To move it to a new device, add an optional email + password in Settings → Account, then use that email to recover your account on the new device. You can also delete your account and all its data from Settings → Account at any time.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the Shop and tap Restore Purchases. This re-grants permanent entitlements (like ad-free or warden packs) tied to your Apple/Google account.

I bought something but didn't receive it.

First try Shop → Restore Purchases. If it still doesn't appear, contact us at dev.anchorapp@gmail.com with your device, store account region, and the approximate purchase time. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple/Google per their policies.

What does "ad-free" do? / How do ads work?

All ads in the game are opt-in — you only ever see one if you choose to watch it in exchange for a reward. Nothing is forced. The ad-free option in the Shop lets you claim those watch-ad rewards instantly (with a small bonus) without watching the ad.

How do I manage ad/tracking consent?

Change ad consent through the in-app prompt (where shown) and your device privacy settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

The game won't load / I lost progress.

Make sure you're on the latest version. Your progress is backed up to the cloud under your anonymous account; if you added an email + password, you can recover it via Settings → Account on any device. If you're stuck, email dev.anchorapp@gmail.com with details and we'll help.
